How to Recruit for Rebel Vibez Gaming & Our Divisions

Recruiting isn’t about getting the biggest numbers, it’s about bringing the right people into the community.

Our goal is to build friendships first and grow a community where people genuinely want to stay. Every member represents RVG, so always be respectful, welcoming, and authentic.

Method 1: Facebook Recruiting

Facebook has consistently been one of the best recruiting tools for RVG. Many of our current members originally found us through Facebook.

Recruiting on Facebook takes effort. It isn’t as simple as posting an advertisement and hoping people join. Successful recruiting comes from being active, engaging with people, and creating a memorable first impression.

Step 1: Join Discord Advertisement Groups

Join several Facebook groups dedicated to Discord communities, such as:

• Discord Advertising for Adults
• Discord Links
• Discord Promotions
• and Various Other Discord advertising communities

Before posting, always read the group’s rules. Every group has different guidelines, and following them helps keep your posts visible while preventing removals or bans.

Step 2: Create a Strong Advertisement

A good advertisement should include:

• What Rebel Vibez Gaming is
• The games or divisions we offer
• What makes RVG different
• Who we’re looking for
• A Discord invite link
• An eye-catching graphic whenever possible

Remember that people often decide within seconds whether they want to click your invite.

Step 3: Welcome Every Recruit

Recruiting doesn’t end when someone joins.

Say hello.

Answer questions.

Introduce them to other members.

Help them find the games they play.

The better their first experience is, the more likely they are to become long-term members.

Facebook Recruiting 2: Making Friends First

Another effective method is finding people who are looking for gaming friends.

Many people post looking for teammates or new friends.

When you see these posts:

• Read the entire post.
• Leave a genuine comment.
• Send them a friendly message if appropriate.
• Start a conversation.
• Get to know them.

Avoid immediately sending the Discord invite.

Build a friendship first. If the conversation goes well, invite them to RVG naturally.

People join communities because of people…not advertisements.

Make every interaction memorable.

Method 2: In-Game Recruiting

One of the most effective recruiting methods is simply playing games.

People are much more likely to join a community after they’ve already had fun playing with you.

Best Practices

• Be friendly in voice or text chat.
• Help newer players.
• Stay positive.
• Avoid unnecessary arguments or trash talk.
• Show the kind of community RVG represents.

If you have a great session with someone, mention that you’re part of a gaming community.

If they seem interested, invite them.

Never pressure anyone to join.

Method 3: Invite Your Friends

Sometimes the best recruits are people you already know.

Invite:

• Friends
• Family
• Coworkers
• Military buddies
• Former clan members
• Stream viewers

These people already know you, making them much more likely to stay active.

Method 4: Social Media Presence

Recruiting doesn’t always mean directly asking someone to join.

Sharing content regularly helps people discover RVG naturally.

Examples include:

• Gaming clips
• Funny moments
• Community event photos
• Tournament announcements
• Member highlights
• Engagement posts
• Community updates

An active community attracts active members.

Method 5: Word of Mouth

Happy members recruit naturally.

The better experience people have in RVG, the more likely they are to tell their friends.

Always encourage members to invite people they enjoy gaming with.

One great member can bring several more over time.

Recruiting Do’s

✅ Continue talking with recruits after they join.

Recruiting Don’ts

❌ Don’t spam Discord links.

❌ Don’t mass DM strangers.

❌ Don’t argue with people.

❌ Don’t recruit inside other Discord servers unless it’s explicitly allowed.

❌ Don’t promise things RVG can’t deliver.

❌ Don’t pressure anyone into joining.

❌ Don’t focus only on numbers.

Remember

Every conversation is an opportunity.

Not everyone will join immediately and that’s okay.

Our goal isn’t to recruit everyone.

Our goal is to recruit the people who fit the RVG culture.

A smaller community with great people will always be stronger than a large community with the wrong people.

Come for the games. Stay for the family.
