Rebel11Six’s Office~This past week may have been a slower one around Rebel Vibez Gaming, but that’s perfectly okay. Not every week is measured by activity alone, it’s measured by the community that continues to show up, support one another, and keep the Vibez alive. Even during the quieter moments, our family continues to grow stronger.

That said, we still have plenty to cover in this week’s edition. From recognizing members who have gone above and beyond to sharing community highlights and gaming content, there’s no shortage of exciting news. We’ll also be giving you a first look at some upcoming changes that we believe will strengthen RVG even further. While we aren’t revealing everything just yet, let’s just say… we’re getting ready to shake things up once again, for the betterment of the community.

News of the Week

Over the past 24 hours, we held a community poll because we wanted to hear directly from all of you about the future direction of Rebel Vibez Gaming. The question was simple: should we continue with the clan-style structure we’ve been building, or should we return to the gaming community that so many of us were proud to call home? As always, we believe the community deserves a voice in major decisions, and once again, you didn’t disappoint.

The results couldn’t have been any clearer. The overwhelming majority voted in favor of bringing back the full Rebel Vibez Gaming experience. After reviewing the feedback, we’ve decided it’s time to make that transition. This isn’t about abandoning everything we’ve worked on over the past few months, but rather taking the best ideas we’ve developed and combining them with the community-first identity that has always defined RVG.

One of the biggest changes coming from this decision is the return of The Council. While the Council will once again play a major role in helping guide the community, our Staff Teams aren’t going anywhere. In fact, the current Team Leads will serve as members of the Council, allowing us to keep the specialized teams we’ve built while restoring a leadership structure that has been a part of RVG’s history. This approach gives us the best of both worlds by maintaining organization while creating stronger communication across the community.

As for leadership, Magic and I will remain in our current roles, although those positions will receive updated titles as we finalize the new structure. We want to make sure this transition is handled properly and that every change is made with the long-term success of the community in mind rather than rushing into something that isn’t fully planned out.

One thing that won’t be changing is Moonlight Familia. They have established a great environment focused on cozy community experiences, and there’s no reason to change something that’s already working. Moonlight Familia will continue hosting karaoke nights, movie nights, casual gaming sessions, and other relaxed community events just as they always have.

Rebel Vibez Gaming, on the other hand, will once again become the primary home for our gaming-focused activities. Community game nights, tournaments, competitive events, and everything centered around bringing gamers together will be hosted through RVG while Moonlight Familia continues to thrive as our cozy community branch. We believe this balance allows both communities to grow in their own way while remaining connected under the same family.

At the end of the day, this isn’t about going backward. It’s about listening to our members, learning from our experiences, and building something even stronger than before. The community has spoken, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. As always, we’ll continue making decisions with one goal in mind, creating the best possible home for gamers. Because here at Rebel Vibez Gaming, The Vibez Never Die.

Overwatch: Did You Know?

One of the most interesting facts about Overwatch is that it was actually born from the cancellation of another Blizzard project. The game’s development began after the MMO Titan was canceled, with the development team taking many of the ideas they had learned and transforming them into the hero shooter that millions of players know today.

Since its launch in 2016, Overwatch has become one of the most influential team-based shooters in gaming. Its unique cast of heroes, each with their own abilities, personalities, and backstories, helped redefine the genre and inspired countless games that followed.

Did You Know?

The original Overwatch launched with 21 playable heroes. Today, the roster has grown to include dozens of heroes across the Tank, Damage, and Support roles, giving players more ways than ever to find a playstyle that fits them.

Spotlight of the Week

Swampass2010: A Legacy of Loyalty

This week’s Spotlight of the Week goes to Swampass2010, one of the longest-standing members of Rebel Vibez Gaming and someone who has continued to embody what it means to be Family 4 Life.

Swampass2010 has been with RVG since the community was founded back in 2022. Through every generation, every challenge, and every new chapter, he has remained a loyal and dedicated member of the family. That kind of commitment isn’t something that can be taught, it’s earned through years of believing in the community and the people behind it.

Over the past week, Swampass2010 has continued doing his part to keep the community active by jumping into games, engaging with members, and encouraging others to get involved. Even during a quieter week, he’s shown that activity isn’t just about numbers…it’s about being present and helping keep the spirit of the community alive.

Beyond being an active member, Swampass2010 also serves as the Team Lead of Team Ironveil, where he plays a key role in helping keep Rebel Vibez Gaming a safe, welcoming, and well-managed community. Whether it’s supporting the leadership team, helping maintain order, or looking out for the best interests of RVG, he’s someone we know we can always count on.
