News of the week
🎮 News of the Week
The Rebel Vibez Council came together this past week to discuss some major steps forward for our community. From community events to competitive play, exciting things are on the horizon!
🏆 Competitive Nights are Coming
We’re officially launching Comp Nights, happening 3 days a week across 4 different games—Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Marvel Rivals, and Call of Duty. Each night will be run by a Team Leader, giving Rebels the chance to sharpen their skills, squad up, and dive into structured, competitive play.
These Comp Nights aren’t just for fun—they’re laying the foundation for something even bigger. This initiative is the first step toward building an official RVG Esports Division in the future. Get ready, Rebels, because the road to competitive glory starts here!
🌍 Expanding the Rebel Vibez Family
We’re also putting down the stepping stones for a dedicated UK/AUS Division in the future. With more international Rebels joining every week, this move will help ensure that time zones, events, and competitive opportunities are accessible across the globe.
🎃 Halloween on the Horizon
We’re in the early planning stages for RVG Halloween this October. Expect chilling vibes, spooky fun, and some surprise community events that’ll make this one unforgettable. More details will be announced soon—so stay tuned.

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on one of the driving forces behind Rebel Vibez Gaming—Space, our Community Manager! 🌌
As Community Manager, Space helps keep the Rebel Vibez spirit alive by supporting members, building connections, and making sure everyone feels welcome. From organizing community vibes to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, Space is always at the heart of what makes RVG feel like home.
Let’s get to know Space a little better in this week’s Q&A!
Me=Non-Bold
Space=Bold
What first brought you to Rebel Vibez Gaming, and what made you want to become a staff member?
what originally brought me here was Tay, I saw her in here a bunch and how active the server was and all the games you guys played and it dragged me in. what made me want to be a staff member was getting all the upcoming events posts and then having so many ideas for other events, and also wanting to help Tay out
What’s your favorite game to play right now, and why?
my favorite game to play right now is overwatch by far, I’ve put so much time and effort into the game it feels wrong to step away from it. and it has been getting tons of updates that keep my interest
If you could build your dream gaming squad (anyone, real or fictional), who would be on it?
my dream squad would have to be ML7, Flats, insym, senpai, and Tay! not to far off right now lol,
What’s one gaming memory with RVG that stands out the most to you?
THE CUP, i remember it so well, it was so fun to participate and watch on stream! the battle between the last two teams on marvel rivals in stuck in my head forever
Outside of gaming, what’s something you’re passionate about or enjoy doing?
outside of gaming I’m passionate about art! I love being an artist, its a good way to keep me active but also just chill,
If you could give one piece of advice to new Rebels joining the community, what would it be?
one piece of advice i would give is to not be shy! were all welcoming and friendly, always feel free to hop in vc or type in global! someone’s usually always down to do something,
What’s your go-to snack or drink when you’re gaming late at night?
my go to snack and drink for late night gaming is defiantly tropical sprite and BBQ potato chips,
What do you think sets Rebel Vibez apart from other gaming communities?
what sets us apart from other gaming communities is that we are incredibly inclusive, loving, and the council and staff treat you like you’ve been friends for decades, were building a family. not a esports team.
Gamer of the Week
This week, the spotlight shines on CommanderRex92Gaming! 🎮✨
Rex has been showing true Rebel spirit all week—bringing positivity, skill, and nonstop energy into every lobby. Whether it’s holding down the squad in competitive matches or just vibin’ with the community, Rex has proven to be a force on the sticks and a huge part of what makes Rebel Vibez Gaming thrive.
Make sure to give CommanderRex92Gaming some love in the Discord and celebrate their achievement—because this week, they’ve earned the crown as our Gamer of the Week! 🏆
random fact
Did You Know… The Longest Gaming Session on Record Was Over 138 Hours?
In 2012, a gamer named Okan Kaya from Australia set a Guinness World Record by playing Call of Duty: Black Ops II for an unbelievable 135 hours and 50 minutes straight. He rotated between two Xbox 360 consoles to stay within Guinness rules (since bathroom breaks and short rests were allowed), but the dedication was real.
To put it in perspective, that’s nearly six full days of nonstop gaming! Kaya managed the marathon by taking short power naps and quick breaks, fueled mostly by energy drinks and sheer determination.
While the record was eventually broken (the current stands at over 138 hours in 2015), it highlights just how extreme gaming passion can go. Of course, here at Rebel Vibez we don’t recommend testing those limits—but it’s wild to think someone pushed their grind that far for the love of the game.
So next time you’re deep in an all-night session chasing crowns or grinding ranks, just remember: you’re still a long way off from the Guinness record… and probably better off for it. 😅
song of the week
🎶 Song of the Week 🎶
“Made Me This Way” – Silent Theory x New Years Day
This week’s featured track is a collaboration that packs a punch both musically and emotionally. Silent Theory brings their trademark grit, while New Years Day layers in hauntingly powerful vocals that take the song to another level.
“Made Me This Way” is more than just heavy riffs and crushing drums—it’s an anthem about resilience, identity, and owning the experiences that shape us. Every lyric carries the raw honesty of struggle and the unapologetic fire of rising stronger because of it.
For our Rebels, this track captures the exact spirit of what we stand for:
- Intensity – when the match is down to the wire, and your heart’s racing.
- Resilience – when setbacks only fuel your drive to push harder.
- Identity – when gaming, vibing, and community give you the space to be unapologetically you.
It’s the perfect soundtrack whether you’re dropping into Fortnite, locking in on Warzone, or just chilling in Discord with the crew.
So turn it up loud, let it drive your grind this week, and remember: the challenges don’t break us—they make us this way.

That’s a wrap on this week’s Rebel Vibez Bulletin, and what a packed edition it’s been! From major Council updates that set the course for our future, to the launch of Comp Nights across Overwatch 2, R6 Siege, Marvel Rivals, and Call of Duty, we’re stepping into an exciting new era of competitive play. These weekly battles aren’t just about sharpening our skills—they’re the foundation for an eventual RVG Esports Division that will take Rebel Vibez Gaming to the next level.
Beyond competition, the Council also looked outward, laying down the stepping stones for a UK/AUS Division, ensuring Rebels across the globe have their place to shine. And with early talks already in motion for RVG Halloween this October, the future is looking nothing short of thrilling.
Of course, no Bulletin would be complete without spotlighting the Rebels who make this community special. This week, we got to know Space, our Community Manager, a leader whose creativity, energy, and love for art and gaming help keep the RVG spirit alive. We also celebrated CommanderRex92Gaming as our Gamer of the Week, recognizing the positivity and dedication that embody what it means to be a Rebel.
We even took a dive into gaming history with a Random Fact about the world record for longest gaming session (spoiler: six days straight is way too long for any of us to attempt!), and set the tone for the grind with our Song of the Week—“Made Me This Way” by Silent Theory x New Years Day, an anthem of resilience and identity that couldn’t fit RVG better.
As always, the Rebel Vibez community isn’t just about games—it’s about people, memories, and the energy we bring together. Whether you’re belting out your favorites in Karaoke Night, chasing crowns, or simply vibing in Discord, you’re a part of what makes this network a family, not just a community.
So keep the controllers charged, keep the playlists loud, and keep the vibes strong—because RVG is only just getting started. Until next week, Rebels… Game hard. Vibe harder. 🎮🔥
