News of the (Past 2) Weeks

Partnership

A couple week’s ago we made a partnership with Pastor_Gaming and his community. We are super excited for this partnership and seeing where we can go from here! He host’s a Bible Study every Monday as well as a movie night right after! Definitely some family friendly fun with that!

Drunknite

Rebel Vibez Gaming held their monthly Drunknite a couple week’s ago and it was a blast! We played multiple different games with lots of laughter. Definitely can’t wait for our next one!

Community Nights

The past 2 week’s for Community Night have definitely been a blast! We played Call of Duty where we ended up making Private Match’s so we could have lots of fun. From playing some TDM, Free-for-All, and Prop Hunt. Definitely had tons of laughs there with some new ideas for our next events!

Get to know a Staff Member

This week we get to learn about our one and only Head of Staff, Zero! I first met Zero back in a GTA Crew I joined through ImFloridaMan. From there I have learned a lot about Zero while seeing how he was as a Chief of Staff in another gaming community ImFloridaMan and Zero ran called, Velocity. After seeing how he upheld himself there I thought he would be the best fit here. Now it is your turn to learn more about him.

So, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

so i am just your average guy with various hobbies like gaming obviously, curating my music library of various formats, and cooking i also enjoy the company of my 3 cats

So why did you decide to come over to Rebel Vibez Gaming?

i missed being apart of a community after closing one that was a close personal project between myself and many others not to mention this place is pretty chill so that definitely helps too

Well, we are definitely glad to have you! What was the first game that got you into gaming?

making me think way back on that one cause its complicated, cause first ever its between several games at the same time like pokemon red/blue, sonic the hedgehog 2, and ocarina of time and then the second part thats the ones that made me want to be apart of an online community and thats between Call of Duty 4 and the original Red Dead Online

What other hobbies do you enjoy when you aren’t gaming?

i rewatch a lot of shows across the various streaming services, ive recently found i really like cooking and baking, and there are times where i just get lost in a new playlist and chill

Sounds interesting! So here at Rebel Vibez Gaming you hold the Head of Staff position. How is that going and what are your expectations here at Rebel Vibez? Where do you see the Community going?

so far things have been going great and my experience with the position has been smooth its good seeing more interested in helping out with staffing and even just giving feedback on improvements, personally i see this community has nearly everything it needs to really take off

Do you have anything you would like to say before we end this?

i appreciate the open warm welcome from the community over the past few weeks and i appreciate the hard work put in by the other staff

Did you know~That Deus Ex, released in 2000, was based in New York City and did not have the twin towers in it? What’s even creepier than that the in game story mentioned that they were destroyed in a terrorist attack, a full year before the September 11th, 2001 Terrorist Attack!

This week’s Song of the Week is going to be a dark one, but also discusses serious topics. The song is called “Lights Out” by Mass of Man. It covers topics like bullying, Mental Health, and a few other topics. Take a listen below:

I know it may be hard for us as we get so into video games as well as this community, but remember that real life comes first. Take time for yourself sometimes and go for a hike. Spend some time in nature and smell the flowers. Not everything is about gaming and sometimes we need that in life. Everybody goes through things differently, but sometimes you need to go do something differently to really get through things.
