News of the Week
As you seen in a previous post, Turbo is no longer a part of Rebel Vibez Gaming as drama sparked Friday night which resulted her in walking out on Rebel Vibez Gaming along with her husband LordSirk. With that said, Saturday Morning Country4Live9398 has stepped up as the new Vice President.
Country has been in Rebel Vibez Gaming for a short period and has already proven to be a great fit here in Rebel Vibez. He became Head of Security after being here for a week and then took over as Administrative Officer 2 weeks ago. In these roles he made some great changes already with our security team and also helped rebuild this website with me.
Along with that change Tay, Country’s Girlfriend, will be taking on the role as Community Leader temporarily until we can find someone to be a great fit for that role. She is also a member of The Council as our Secretary which she has been doing great at.
We have also brought back Swampass as a member of the staff as our new Head of Security. He was previously a member of our Security team before some minor things happened. Before all this he has held many different positions within Rebel Vibez since the founding of this community.
In other news, I held an 8 Hour Welcome Back Stream this past Saturday along with Country4Life that went really well. We played various games like Call of Duty Black Ops 6, Marvel Rivals, and Fortnite. We had other members from Rebel Vibez join in and we had a great time. We also talked about getting weekly events going again and our Community Leader, Tay, has already got them rolling in! More about that later on in our Upcoming Events!

For our Get to Know a Staff Member I have our new Vice President of Rebel Vibes Gaming, Country4Life9398!

So, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Matt. I am a country boy and was raised in the south by a pastor and his wife which played a big role in who I am today
So why did you decide to come over to Rebel Vibez Gaming?
To have a community that I could play with and enjoy spending time with.
What was the first game that got you into gaming?
My first game i ever had honestly was Pokémon Blue on Gameboy Advanc, but the one that really got me into gaming was Forza Horizon.
What other hobbies do you enjoy when you aren’t gaming?
Working on cars I’ve been a mechanic for over a decade now, and turning wrenches is my happy place.
As the new Vice President, What are your expectations in Rebel Vibez Gaming and where do you see this Community going?
My expectations are for the community to support one another and help each other grow. As far as where I see the community going honestly the sky’s the limit with the people we have now.
Do you have anything you would like to say before we end this?
I just want to say thank you for allowing me to be a part of the community

Gamer of the Week
So for Gamer of the week this week we won’t have one, but we will be keeping an eye out this week for next week.
For hose that don’t know how gamer of the week works then I will lay out how we make our decision. The Council looks at these bulletins:
• Must be a Member(Non-Staff Members)
• Activity in the Community(Just streaming doesn’t Count)
• Any rule violations
• Asking others to game up
These are the criteria that we look at. Starting next week we will also be finally implementing our ribbons/medals into the community. At the end of each Month(starting next month) we will choose a Gamer of the Month which will get a reward. Those rewards will be decided among the Council(different for each month, but still fair to other Gamer’s of the Month). At the end of the year we hold a Rebel Vibez Gaming Awards which we will choose a Gamer of the Year which will get the big reward of the Year.
For the Gamer of the Year we will look at the following criteria:
• Must be a member of Rebel Vibez Gaming
• Activity throughout the Year
• Community Events Activity
• No Rule Violations Throughout the Year
• Helping others out

Random Facts
Did You Know…There was once a Video Game that was released in December 1982 called, “E.T.the Extra-Terrestrial” that was designed by Howard Scott Warshaw who was one of Atari’s top programmers. In the game you play as E.T. Where you go around collecting pieces of a phone which would allow you to “Phone Home”. The game was rushed to market in just five weeks to coincide with the movie’s release. The game did not go well at all. The game is considered one of the worst video games ever created and is often blamed for the Video Game Crash of 1983. The game was so bad that thousands of unsold cartridges were buried in a New Mexico landfill!
Song of the Week
This week’s Song of the week is written by Dan Schilling who is an Air Force Special Operations Veteran. The song I am referring to is called, “Sons of War/Veteran”. The song is a 2 in 1 song with the first part “Sons of War” which is about three people who sign up for the military, not knowing what they’ll get into and what combat is like. The 2nd part, “Veteran”, deals with the trauma that comes after only two come back. Take a listen below 👇
