Rebel11Six’s Office~This past week was pretty busy with the 4th of July and a pop up event. We had some drama happen that that goes fully against who we are and something else that will be covered that I am excited to announce! So let’s jump right into it shall we?

News of the Week

First thing I want to say is thank you to all of you for how amazing this community is starting to turn out. We have had a lot going on and through it all you are sticking to it. I appreciate the hard work everyone is putting in. This is not an easy thing to build, but with the resilience our staff has to get things done they make it look easy.

We don’t mess Around

One thing I want to say is that when it comes to toxicity and drama we do NOT mess around. Here at Rebel Vibez Gaming we always try to end it immediately. We had someone join us over a week ago that was going against our rules that we have in place even after the many warnings that he received. From hitting on the ladies of Rebel Vibez to raging on the game with fellow members he was just making members uncomfortable. So we ended up kicking him from Rebel Vibez Gaming.

Now, I do want to apologize to everyone on how it went down as we could have handled it a little more professionally and respectfully. This was the first time we have had that happen so moving forward it will be done in a more respectful manner. It is something that we have learned from.

Community Night

Last week instead of having a Guys Night/Ladies Night we ended up coming together for the first time as a full on Community and had a fun night. We ended up playing Fortnite Creative and it was definitely a night to remember. From playing Prop Hint to Hide and Seek we all could not stop laughing.

Staff Meeting Updates

On Sunday the staff held a staff meeting to deal with some things that has happened and to plan stuff for this month. So the first thing we discussed was what happened that night that I already went over. The 2nd thing we went over was the qualifications to become a staff member. To be a staff member you have had to have been in the server for a minimum of 3 weeks and have at least attended 3 events. Next thing we talked about was taking extra security measures for the server. Making sure everyone in our community is safe. So we increased the security of the server and taking extra precautions. Also if you haven’t set up 2FA then I highly recommend it.

We are also going to be setting up Server Booster Perks as well. That way there is more of a reason to boost the server. Now with the members there will soon be a member leveling system that will grant you a level up when you reach a certain level in the server. With that said, we also promoted GrimmFire to a Division Leader for Phasmophobia. However, while I was typing this up she left Rebel Vibez Gaming.

Moving forward we went over the Division Leader roles on what is expected of the Division Leader.

During this meeting we discussed a new Partnership with Gameaholic’s. We voted on whether or not we should partner with them which was unanimously approved. Once more details are worked out we will go further into detail with the partnership and what is expected.

Get to Know a Staff Member

This week’s Get to Know a Staff Member is no other than your Head of the Staff, InfiniteDemise! InfiniteDemise is the wife of the Vice President, Twinkie. She has been around since the beginning of this Generation and has been a tremendous help to us all. She helps keep our staff in line as well as handle all the interviews for our staff. So, how about we go ahead and get to know her a little bit more?

So, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am a casual gamer, live in Ar, and am married and have 3 kids and a grandson

So why did you decide to come over to Rebel Vibez Gaming?

I was in another group with Rebel11six, Savagestreak and Twized.When it was brought up about a nontoxic, drama free gaming community to bring gamers and creators alike to have fun and create something special I was all in.

What was the first game that got you into gaming?

First games that got me into gaming was actually Zelda on pc, and duck hunt & Mario brothers on nintendo

What other hobbies do you enjoy when you aren’t gaming?

Spending time with family and friends, camping, fishing, and baking.

As the Head of Staff, What are your expectations in Rebel Vibez Gaming and where do you see this Community going?

My expectations are that we continue to grow and show other communities over many platforms that a community can be many gaming platforms playing together without toxicity, hatred, abuse, or drama. I see our community becoming one of the top gaming communities for all gaming platforms and games. We have some od the best chill people and creators and hope we can continue that trend.

DID YOU KNOW…that Nintendo’s Game Boy survived a Bombing during the Gulf War?

A Nintendo Game Boy was found after a Bombing during the Golf War which still functions today! It’s actually sitting on Display at the Nintendo’s World Store in New York! I would say this Game Boy is straight flexing on other systems right now 🤙

Song of the Week

This week’s Song of the Week is a song that I would like to put up for our Official Anthem! Of course we will put it to a vote here soon(spoiler alert)! This song covers how hard they go as a squad when they are together. They talk about how they constantly rep their squad and that when they are together they are unstoppable. It has an upbeat sound with a nice beat to it. Listen to it below!

This was definitely a fun week as well as crazy. With everything that happened this week I am hoping this week is much better!
