Rebel11Six’s Office~This week was definitely a fun week filled with lots of laughter and making new friends here at Rebel Vibez Gaming. We had a guys night, ladies night, and a random Drunknite even came to light! This edition also sees the return of the long awaited return of Gamer of the Week! News of the Week

This past week had some noteworthy events this past week along with a pop up DrunkNite!

Guys Night

The week started off with a bang with a Guys Night that was hosted by our beloved VP, Twinkie! They played Fortnite and had lots of fun.

Ladies Night

The Ladies had their 2nd Ladies Night that seemed like they had lots of fun! They played multiple games and shared some laughs.

Pop up DrunkNite

We had a pop up DrunkNite that all started in the global chat when CelestialC4 asked if we were holding a DrunkNite that night. We responded that usually we only hold them once a month, but everyone was down to hold one anyways! It was filled with lots of fun and laughter. We started off on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 then switched over to Fortnite and that is when the fun kicked off! We had about 7 of us on that joined where we played creative matches such as Imposters, FNAF, and various different games. As the night started dying down some switched over to Dead by Daylight and CODMW3 Warzone, then GTAV. It was definitely a long and fun filled night to remember!

Getting to Know the Staff

This section is replacing Staff Member of the Week as Twinkie and I both decided that Staff Member of the Week wouldn’t be the best to do moving forward. So we will be holding Staff Member of the Month each month instead.

So the first Staff Member you will get to know is my biggest supporter and Rebel Vibez Gaming’s biggest supporter, my girlfriend, your First Lady…Savagestreak1! Savagestreak1 was one of Rebel Vibez Gaming’s Co-Founder and has been with Rebel Vibez Gaming since day 1. Without her Rebel Vibez Gaming wouldn’t be what it is today as she has stuck around through it all. She’s been actively recruiting and helping plan every event we have. So, without further-ado, let’s get to know more!

So, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I have been gaming since I was really young where I started out playing nintendo 64. If I wasn’t gaming by myself I would be gaming with my brothers.

So why did you decide to come over to Rebel Vibez Gaming?

I was forced to by you 😐 jk 🤪 I wanted something that we could bring our friends to and have more people to game with.

What was the first game that got you into gaming?

Metal Gear Solid

What other hobbies do you enjoy when you aren’t gaming?

Is annoying my boyfriend one? 🤭 jk binge watching my shows or spending time with you

What are your expectations in Rebel Vibez Gaming and where do you see this Community going?

Hopefully become the biggest gaming community around!

Gamer of the Week

This week’s edition of Gamer of the Week goes to Poundcake! Poundcake has been a staple to our community since the day she joined. She has been to most events and active daily in our community chat. You may notice her greeting new joins as they enter the chat and playing Fortnite when she isn’t. She has definitely earned this noteworthy award. Let’s find out more about her with this interview!

Can you tell us a little about yourself and why you decided to join Rebel Vibez Gaming?

I was wanting to find a fun group of people to game with that were friendly judgements free and welcoming to all people. I had saw this group on Facebook and decided to join once I saw that all were welcomed on different consoles and with the variety of games that you all played

How do you feel about being the Gamer of the Week?

Oh that is awesome! Thank you so much!

What games do you normally play?

I normally play dead by daylight Fortnite and smite but I’m always down for new things to try

What was the first game that got you into gaming?

Legend of Zelda Wind Waker

Song of the Week

This week’s song of the week actually goes out towards my dad and many other fathers out there. It’s called, “Remember him that Way” by Luke Combs. It’s a sweet song about how the father figure has fallen asleep in his chair watching an old Western show and remembering how he was when the artist was younger. It’s a really sweet song and that is why it is this week’s song of the week. Enjoy!

DID YOU KNOW… That Assassin’s Creed was originally supposed to be a spin-off of Prince of Persia?

So, back in 2003, Prince of Persia was the game to play! Everyone was playing and I personally played it every chance I got. I loved that game! So, Ubisoft had its developers start working on another a game that would revolutionize the genre by using the next generation of gaming consoles to their advantage. Which they ended up wanting to name “Prince of Persia: Assassin’s”.

What they didn’t predict was that they worked so hard on it that they started creating something totally different that they decided to rename it “Assassin’s Creed”.
